My Mom owns a 1998 Saturn SL.  Other than general maintenance she has had no problems.  About a week ago, car quit running while she was going down the road.  Next day it would not start, key won't  go in, key won't come out, key won't turn, blah, blah, blah.  Left her stranded three time in one day.  Have the car towed to the Saturn dealership.  Tell the service advisor what the problem is.  Okay fine (not) he calls the next day and tells her it the crank shaft position sensor (but the car started - CSP is a no start fix - I'm a female what do I know) and he couldn't duplicate the key not going in, key not coming out, blah, blah, blah.  They can not fix something that is not broke, informed me.  Okay replace the sensor if thats the problem, of course - NOT!   After spending $275.00 for repairs, the next morning Mom goes off to work, phone rings, Mom broke down car quit running!?  Called Saturn told them, oh well to bad, Mom still broke down on the road.  Take it to another rocket scientist, another Mr NASA, said it was the starter!?  Since it was rather early in the morning we just parked on their lot.  I told her to call and ask if the new starter would fix the problem, of course - NOT!  Now it was the starter and the tumbler for the ignition.  Can not get one without the other.  WHATEVER, FIX THE FRICKIN car.  Okay they did for $775.00, so far today there has been no problem.  However, there is no telling what tomorrow will bring.

Going to try to get my money refunded from Saturn tomorrow.  Hope I don't have to have to drive  up there and run someone over with my big truck.

My opinion - mechanics are pond scum!
